I’m setting up the new saw blade rig, because tomorrow at 20:00 we will be performing with our noise ensemble GGR Betong at ATALANTE in Gothenburg, as the official GEIGER houseband at our festival April-fest.
A couple of years ago I got a comisson from Julian McKinney at Doc Lounge GBG to make a soundpiece inspired by the movie “Tyfonen i spegeln” about the autisic woman Iris.
GGR BETONG made another great performance during the GAS gestival on the 22nd of october.
Amongst other former hits, we also played a new piece written for us by Ruta Vitkauskaite.

Last year I did some sound for a documentary by Kristina Meiton called SHIFT. A four part documentary about the lives of workplaces and individuals and their values and thoughts connected to their idea of work and their own relation to their jobs.
Premiered the 16th of January at Konstepidemin in Gothenburg as a part of a joint exhibition with the artist Monne Lindström.
On the 14th of May GGR BETONG played at the wonderful Not Quite in Fengersfors, Dalsland.
We got to play in the most fitting setting possible for a noise ensemble. Their huge smithy. Myself was situated up on a ladder with my electric burl by the smithys fireplace. This evening we where at full force, with these people joining me at the front line:
Sven Rånlund, Michael Idelhall, Åsa Nordgren, Barrie James Sutcliffe, Peller Bolander, Linus Andersson, Tony Blomdahl and Tomas Hulenvik (conductor for the evening). Our original conductor Fredric Bergström could not join us and we missed him greatly.
Set list: Pauline Oliveros – Bottoms Up, Lasse Marhaug – The Great Silence, Zbigniew Karkowski – Below the Demarcation and Anna Eriksson – Three minutes and ten seconds.
On the same night The Space Lady also performed.
On the 7th of May MIMTABU played my tactile score ITAPÅNE at Cinnober in Gothenburg.
Very grateful for their effort and professional attitude, because of that the piece really did meet my expectations and fulfilled my hopes about what it could communicate in the sence of being a different way of relaying an idea of sound to a performer through a score.
In the evening I did my short, but hopefully sweet, noise gig at Club MORRICONE at Sockerbruket in Gothenburg. Such a wonderful and nice place. I recommend everyone to go and experience the musical and friendly atmosphere.

During the fall of 2015 I did a co-lab noisepiece for fashion designer Camilla Doverhags line Non Static Steel.

This week I went to London to play a show at the South London Gallery organized by Unconscious Archives (Sally Golding).
Together with the excellent sonic performers Jean-François Laporte and Billy Roisz.
A great big thanks to all involved making it such a great evening in the name of noise.
